Juneteenth in the Dotte exists to promote Wyandotte County's Annual Juneteenth Parade. The Juneteenth in the Dotte committee recognizes the holiday is considered the "longest-running African-American holiday" and has been called "America's second Independence Day". Juneteenth is usually celebrated on the third Saturday in June.

We are committed to: Providing opportunities for local organizations and individuals from all ethnic backgrounds to participate in the parade and compete in the various prize categories. As well as create a greater sense of an empowered & educated community among the Wyandotte County are. Uniquely Contributing to the quality and vitality of the Wyandotte County Area.
